Information We Collect
RXID.ai is designed with privacy in mind:
- Analytics: Privacy-respecting analytics to understand site usage. No personally identifiable information collected.
- Images: Photos uploaded for pill identification are sent to OpenAI's GPT-4o API for analysis. Images are not stored on our servers after processing.
- Chat: Chat messages are processed to generate responses but are not permanently stored or linked to individual users.
- My Medications: Saved medications are stored in your browser's local storage only. This data never leaves your device.
What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect protected health information (PHI)
- We do not require accounts or registration
- We do not sell or share data with third parties
- We do not use tracking cookies for advertising
Third-Party Services
We use Cloudflare for hosting, Google Fonts for typography, and OpenAI's API for image analysis. Each service's own privacy policy governs their data handling.
